Celebration of UNESCO's 80th Anniversary at the Consulate of France in Florence I 26 November

On 26 November 2025, the French Consulate General in Florence will host the Tuscany UNESCO Clubs to celebrate UNESCO’s 80th anniversary, at the invitation of Consul General Guillaume Rousson. The event will include contributions from the three UNESCO Chairs at the University of Florence, the Florence World Heritage Office, and representatives of UNESCO sites across Tuscany. The meeting will focus on UNESCO’s role in fostering peace, intercultural dialogue, environmental protection, scientific research, ethics, and gender equality.
