Objective 3: Promote people centered policies

The third objective, through the participation of the Chair in research projects, partnerships and inter-university cooperation, is aimed at producing evidences to offer a contribution to policies in fields that represent global priorities such as gender equity, population aging, migration and human mobility, education in prison. These are themes that represent specific lines of research that the Chair intends to develop as well as deepen the scope of educational policies.  The focus of this line of research concerns the field of non-formal and informal education, workplace learning, microcredentials, professionalization in the educational field (teaching and non-teaching professionals) for well-being, inclusion, sustainability and social justice. In the field of Higher Education, the Chair is committed to experimenting and deepening innovative and transdisciplinary approaches to higher education (service learning , undergraduate research, PBL,...) and specific areas such as education for sustainable development and the development of green competences. This is thanks to the possibility of collaboration with the Teaching Learning Center of the University of Florence and with the networks represented by the University Alliance EuniWell (joined by the University of Florence). Always in the field of higher education, the Chair has the opportunity to offer a contribution to improving the quality of higher education through training actions for teaching staff.
